We had a great time on our family holiday this year. We decided to explore south of Sydney along the coast and inland to Kangaroo Valley staying at the Glenmack Caravan Park.

We were going to hire a car for our holiday, but some good friends of ours offered the use of their car, as they were going to New Zealand and wouldn't be using it! We headed off on Monday afternoon, and drove south from Balgowlah, hugging the coast as we went. the drive was very pretty and took us through Bundeena National park and across the spectacular Sea Cliff Bridge.

Tuesday was a glorious day, the sun was out and the morning was coolish with the promise of serious heat, which if your anything like me means melting. We were aiming for the beach today, with a scenic drive and a stop off at Cambewrra Lookout. The Lookout was close to where we were staying so we arrived there early morning. It was quite hazy but the view is awesome, you could nearly see the sea 35Km away.

After the lookout we made our way towards the sea, stopping at Orient Point to have lunch, it was a great spot to stop, but a little bit windy, as you can see in this photo of Sandra and Dylan:

After the beach we were really hungry so we found a great seafood restaurant in a small town called Huskisson. The restaurant was called The Sea Grass Brasserie and the food, as Sandra will tell you Rocked. After we had filled our bellies (mine taking slightly longer to fill than the other two) we headed off towards a town called Vincentia, evening was drawing in and it was getting dark so we headed back to the caravan park to rest our weary bones.
